Available for auction is a unique collection of 11 automotive-related ashtrays from the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo, CA. These ashtrays, originally made for advertising, promotional purposes, showrooms, and clubs, represent iconic automotive brands such as Marlboro, Michelin, Pirelli, Ferrari, Jaguar, Porsche, and Bentley. Dating back to the 1950s with the Lesney Bentley ashtray, the seller notes that this collection remains in remarkable condition considering age and use. 
Highlights include an original Pirelli "Neu Pirelli" radial tires collectible Bakelite ashtray (Made in Venezuela, 6" x 4"), a 1961 Wing & Bonnet Club 10th Annual Rally ceramic ashtray (3rd place prize, British, 6 ½" circumference), a vintage 1956 Ferrari 410/SA porcelain ashtray with a trademark on the back and slight tobacco staining, a 1929 supercharged Bentley ashtray by Lesney (Made in England, 4 ½" x 4"), a Porsche dealer showroom porcelain ashtray (4" circumference), and a Marlboro Ferrari F1 filler cap ashtray, a promotional item from Marlboro’s Ferrari F1 sponsorship, designed like a gas filler cap with a pop-up top (4 ½" circumference). Other notable pieces include a Michelin tire ashtray with ‘Bibendum’ on a glass insert (5" circumference), another Michelin tire ashtray made for Walheim Tire Service in Kearney, NJ (6 ½" circumference, with original sticker), a Jaguar XKE coupe glass ashtray back-stamped by Oxford Motors, Sacramento, CA (7" x 5"), a Jaguar logo ashtray shaped like a soccer club jersey (6 ½"), and a Ferrari Club ashtray in the shape of an F1 helmet (Made in Italy, 4" x 6" high) which the seller states has a slight crack on the side.
