Measuring approximately 86” long by 53.5” tall, this authentic hexagonal sign was originally intended to be mounted within a metal frame and used as an advertisement for Texaco filling stations. Founded in 1902 simply as the “Texas Fuel Company”, Texaco became one of the dominant global petroleum companies from the mid 1940s-1970s and was a notable sponsor of NASCAR, IndyCar, Forumla One, and even the European Touring Car Championship. Today, Texaco remains one of the leading filling station companies as well as an iconic symbol of American car culture. With its distinctive shape and colors, this authentic fiberglass sign makes a beautiful complement to any collection of vintage automobilia. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.
