Available for auction is a unique collection of 10 vintage racing stopwatches, each mounted on a metal dash plate with quick-release clips and displayed on custom wood plaques. The dash plates are individually engraved with the names of iconic racetracks, and the watches can be easily removed and mounted on a car’s dashboard for period-correct rally use.
Included in the collection are: a matching pair of Lustro ‘Bullseye’ dual 2-pusher 1/10-second 30-minute timers on a double plate; a 1950s Sportcraft 1/10-second 15-minute 2-pusher stopwatch; a Heuer-made 1/10-second 15-minute split timer with a black face sold by Sears; a large 64mm Hanhart 2-pusher 1/10-second 60-minute timer in a black case;
a Compass 1/5-second 30-minute timer with a blue face; a Sheraton D1 2-pusher 1/10-second 15-minute split timer; an Aristo Apollo 1/5-second 30-minute split timer with a blue dial; and two Heuer/Sears models—one marked Heuer as a Trackmaster 1/10-second 15-minute split timer, and the other a Trackmate sold by Sears, featuring 3 pushers and dual 1/10-second 60-minute timers. All watches are reported by the seller to be in good working order.

As the auction draws to a close I would like to thank all the bidders and watchers. Don't miss out on the great collection of Automobilia, it brings us back to a time when sports cars and race cars had 3 pedals and we all had to go through the task of learning to drive a standard shift car. I was watching the old Grand Prix movie with James Garner and the peple in the pits were using stopwatches to time laps.........things were more dificult ten, but more fun...........

That’s my kind of car!
Unfortunately not, but for the most part they are period correct. I just watched James Garner in Grand Prix and all thrugh the race scenes you see the people in the pits using these stopwatches. Engraving the names of the race track adds a certain 'c'est la qualite' to the listing. They represent a period that is long past when cars had 3 pedals and no electronics.
Are the races labeled on the watch holders the watches were used in?
