Among the most desirable models of the final air-cooled 911 generation, the 993 Carrera 4S features wider bodywork derived from the Turbo along with a 6-speed manual transmission powering all four wheels. This 1996 example comes finished in Polar Silver and has been customized with a GT2-style rear wing, Aerokit front spoiler, 18” Speedline wheels, and a ProtoTech twin turbocharger kit resulting in an output of over 400 HP. Acquired by the current owner in 2005 with just over 1k miles driven since, this tastefully modified Carrera 4S is now being offered for auction by its longtime caretaker out of Louisiana showing approximately 33k miles on the odometer.
Compared to a standard 993 Carrera, the 4S sports wider fenders and a front bumper borrowed from the 911 Turbo. This Coupe is finished in Polar Silver and has been fitted with a GT2-style rear decklid and wing along with an Aerokit Turbo II front spoiler. It rides on a set of multi-piece 18” Speedline wheels mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Cosmetic imperfections are noted on the lower front spoiler as well as some wear on the rear quarter stone guards. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this 993 is appointed with a black interior including optional supple leather seats front and rear. A set of custom Coco floor mats have been added along with an aftermarket Eclipse stereo, an aftermarket center console armrest, and aluminum-look instrument dials. Factory equipment includes an electric sunroof, power-operated seats and mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning, and an integrated central locking system. The heating has been eliminated with aftermarket headers.
The air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine is said to have been upgraded with a ProtoTech twin-turbocharger and intercooler kit under previous ownership in 2000. A dynamometer test from April 2022 shows an output of 401 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and stopping power comes from Turbo-spec 993 “Big Red” Brembo brakes. Invoices provided by the seller show some routine maintenance throughout the year as well as a major service completed in 2005 at just under 25k miles with a new rear crankshaft oil seal, clutch, and flywheel.
This sale will include a clean title and some documentation.

Im sorry for asking, But was this a factory Turbo car, or was this converted, No offense intended, Its a nice car,
I had a similar set up from Prototech in my two wheel drive Cabriolet. Power was extremely usable with just two wheel drive and with higher compression there was not the typical turbo lag.
@burnrubr The AWD makes it manageable with the 400WHP in most conditions. I'm not sure about a duck tail rear lid because of the intercooler.

looks good and being an awd increased its usability as a daily? i'm wondering if a duck tail will fit on this?
@luis.seneriz don't cloud this guy's auction with your poor decision to take your car to an instant oil change place. You got exactly what you would expect.....
Happy Christmas @Hi and all the best in 2023
@Flsupraguy We have spoken with Prototech about the build and they recall building the car for Jackie Wolfe. David Hart from Prototech says it is a stage 1 build. He isn't sure if there was any internal modifications to the engine but I'm waiting for a call back from David to confirm. I hope this helps.
@Beandip83 this times 100x. I want to know if the internals were built and if so documentation....
Bid in the amount of $65,500
@Hi I think @kvn was just informing the group about it’s prior listing. It was all fact, nothing slanderous. Lots of sideline experts on many of these online auction sites. It goes with the territory. Modified cars typically bring out the skeptics (and rightfully so) and more conversation regarding the mechanical integrity of the car. I assume that will be the same here as questions are already coming up. It’s a gorgeous car with low miles. I think the 993s along with most the used car market had a solid run for the last few years and prices are starting to settle a bit. I wish the seller the best of luck.
@KvN I don’t understand. What’s the issue in compare an auction site where 90% of the people there never bid or neither had a 993 and is only there to try to damage peoples deal. Or you are trying to do the same here. Better quit and go back with your buddies there LOL
How much HP and torque does a 993 turbo have at the wheels? WHEELS.
I love this car. Cold start sounds bad-ass

Have the engine internals been built up to handle the additional horsepower?
Wasn't this recently listed and sold on here a few months ago?
