Up for auction is this Japanese-market 1995 Toyota 80 Series Land Cruiser VX Limited finished in Dark Emerald Pearl.  Legendary for its rugged dependability, the Toyota Land Cruiser is celebrated as one the most robust and versatile 4x4s of all time.  This right-hand-drive 1995 example was imported from Japan and is now being offered by its seller in Texas.  It features a 4.2 L turbodiesel engine, a dual-range transfer case, triple locking differentials, and factory sport suspension settings.  With approximately 135k kilometers (less than 85k miles) showing on the odometer, this Land Cruiser VX Limited represents a fantastic opportunity for any JDM enthusiast.

The Dark Emerald Pearl (6M1) finish is said to be in amazing condition with no signs of any damage or respray (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery).  There is a small ding noted on the front passenger side door molding and lower rear tailgate, as well as a minor scratch on the front bumper and rear c-pillar. There are also two rock chips present on the leading edge of the front hood and some damage to the passenger side of the chrome front bumper guard.  Auxiliary Bosch front lights have been added along with window rain guards. Factory features include window tint, a front bull bar, Japanese-market lighting, and 5-spoke wheels.  All four Bridgestone Dueler H/L tires are dated from 2002 except the rear-mounted spare tire remaining original from 1995.

The cabin is described to be in exemplary condition with only minor wear on the center console and steering wheel.  Some noteworthy factory equipment includes air conditioning, a sunroof, dual batteries, and a compass/altimeter display.  An aftermarket Japanese stereo has been installed which will not work in the U.S., and the seller confirms all other gages and accessories to be working properly.

This Land Cruiser is equipped with a 1HD-FT 4.2 L 24-valve SOHC turbocharged diesel engine featuring direct injection.  168HP and 280 lb.-ft of torque is distributed among all four wheels by way of a 4-speed automatic A442F “bus” transmission with a dual-range transfer case and triple locking differential.  The VX Limited edition also features factory sport suspension settings. In the engine compartment, there has been an extra grounding kit installed which is said to be a common upgrade in Japan.  The brake front rotors were replaced just recently in 2021 and this Land Cruiser is said to be in fantastic running order.  A slow valve cover leak has been indicated by the seller as well as some very light surface rust on the front and rear end.
