It does not, the only things I see as far as moisture control is the dial on the front and the black dish on top which I didn't think about until now. I did a Google search and it is a Mr. Bo Fly humidifier for cigars. You can buy them on Amazon for $6. The one in the piece has never been used, it has a stick on in the back that is still there.
