One last interesting point to consider is that original RUF wheels did have a higher polish on the lips and of course the centers were painted.
Damage or a refinish normally polished the lips of the wheels, but originally they were milled. In the last photos, you can see the original finish of the lips, and they have not been restored or updated.
I tried to be thorough with the details and again if you have any questions, please let me know.

The small production code numbers are on the inside of the lip that would be covered by the tires when mounted.
Just like the date codes everything matches perfectly.

I removed the center caps, and it appears that they are original and have never been refinished. The gold anodizing on the back is beautiful and in new old stock condition.
These wheels comes with four center caps, that photo accidentally uploaded twice.
You will also see that the condition of the wheels where the center caps attach are basically flawless. The caps attach extremely well and fit beautifully.

As we enter the last hour of the auction, I want everyone to know that I am available to answer any questions, or take any additional photographs.
Thank you, Christopher
@PheasantRun I am so sorry but I do not think they will fit a 993. It is all about the offset, I have not done the research to see if spacers could be used or if the offset is in the other direction. I will say, they would look amazing on a 993 because I have never seen them on that platform before. If I find that they would only need spacers I will let you know. Again, Elephant Racing (I only purchase from them) builds some great large (and small) spacers you will be 100% happy with. Sometimes I only use 1mm or 2mm spacers just because I want that perfect look in my mind.
I am happy to help with any other questions, please feel free to reach out. Thank you again, Christopher

Do you know if they would fit a narrow body 993? Thanks in advance.
@Singer2020 in my opinion, they should fit perfect. And if you wanted to bring them out just a little bit more, you could always work with someone like elephant racing because they make fantastic TUV approved spacers.
Please feel free to reach out with any other questions! Thank you again
Will it fit 89 Targa carrera? too wide ?
Bid in the amount of $200
@MK2GTI These wheels were originally developed for the G body cars, but will fit on almost everything after 1983, 5X130.
If there’s anything else I can help with, please let me know. Thank you.
Can you tell me the bolt pattern for this set as I did not read that anywhere?
Thank you.
Hello, and thank you for taking a look at my newest set of speedlines that I have pulled out of my collection.
This original set all date codes to November of 1990. I purchased them from a client of Andial being that my cars were always there having work done.
Almost 27 years later, and they had never been taken out of the boxes. There is some extremely minor handling wear from the last couple decades, but my detailer has said the very few small marks are barely into the clearcoat and would come out within five minutes. Being that I do not like to “package” things for auctions, I want to show them as they came out of my collection. They are ready to be bolted on to your early air cooled Porsche without any additional work needed.
I will be updating additional photographs front and rear of each wheel, and also showing all four matching date codes.
Personally, I would rather have a set of restored wheels dating back to a couple decades ago, because I believe the work was done better. I believe that Robert Wood did these wheels, but I do not have documentation to show that. Robert finished another set of these wheels for my 1989 930 turbo slantnose cab at the same time.
All questions and comments are welcome and I would just like the wheels going to a good home.
Thank you again, Christopher
