Available for auction is a Sheraton Thompson Indy-style racecar pedal car, a professionally built contemporary masterpiece that captures the essence of classic open-wheel racing. The Sheraton Thompson Special was famously driven by AJ Foyt, who won the 48th edition of the International 500 Mile Sweepstakes at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1964 and raced the car in five other events before its retirement. 
After its final race in September 1964 at the Trenton, New Jersey, one-mile track, the car was stored for nearly two years before being donated to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. The seller states that this meticulously crafted pedal car is in excellent condition, with only minor damage to the front grille.
