Available for auction is 2007 limited edition Fender Ford Mustang Shelby GT Stratocaster. This particular example is #041 of only 200 produced. The seller states the guitar is in excellent condition, virtually un-played and includes the original factory hard-shell case, all documentation, a certificate of authenticity and a display case.
Ford used the Cleveland International Auto Show in 2007 to announce a special partnership with Fender guitars to produce a special limited-edition guitar. The guitar was inspired by the Ford Mustang Shelby GT and signed by Carol Shelby. Each guitar features a black base coat with a gold Shelby GT stripe and Powered by Ford sticker. The case doubles as a display case with a translucent Plexiglas face allowing viewers a look inside.
