Available for auction is a limited edition 1:18 scale model of a Porsche 962C signed by Le Mans legend Derek Bell. Norev, founded in 1945 in France, has become world-renowned for its detailed 1:18 scale model recreations. The model is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, certifying Derek Bell’s signature. Limited to just 1,000 units produced, this model features metal bodywork, the Rothmans Porsche Racing livery, and has been signed by Derek Bell.
Between 1983 and 1987, Derek Bell took on Le Mans at the wheel of the Porsche 956C then the 962 for the Rothmans Porsche team, taking victory with Al Holbert and Hans-Joachim. Racegoers have fond memories of the British cigarette firm’s livery and were delighted when, to celebrate the German marque’s 70th anniversary in 2018, Porsche reproduced the blue, white, red, and gold colors on one of four 911 RSRs entered in the LMGTE Pro class.The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.

Met him twice. Once at Amelia and had lunch with him and our small group at lemans in 2015.. Pleasant guy enjoying his success from a very dangerous racing era. Having driven driving at 240mph on the mulsanne straight he told me he won’t ride his motorcycle in Boca any more.. people are too crazy!
