Available for auction is a pair of restored early 911 Recaro Comfort seats. According to the seller, this pair of folding Recaro comfort seats has recently been restored with correct black leatherette and German wool Pepita. The seats feature adjustable headrests and embossed Recaro logos on the caps of the adjustment levers. 
The side hinges are finished in black and the seats are mounted on the original sliders. The seats include brackets and sliders, seat belt anchors, and all correct Porsche hardware. These seats are best suited for F-chassis 911 models but can be fitted to later models with appropriate seat sliders. Don't miss your opportunity to own a pair of 911 Recaro comfort seats. @911Fan Michael Ott Upholstery Manassas VA did the restoration. The crinkle black finish is correct for a 72 911, earlier cars had chrome and they could be refinished as such if desired.

Were the springs in the seats replaced?
Why are the side brackets black? Can they be restored to the original chrome by removing the black paint or coating?

@pvrose In regards to shipping, I am happy to work with the winning bidder to arrange shipping. The seats are bagged, headrests and hardware wrapped, everything boxed. Welcome to my auction for these fully restored Recaro Komfort Seats. These seats are from a 1972 911 and are direct fit for and 69-73 911. I believe they will also fit pre-Carrera impact bumper 911s as well. Other fitments may be possible with different brackets and rails, but buyer would have to make such determinations.
These seats are now bagged and boxed and ready for pickup or shipping. I am happy to deliver to UPS for final packaging and shipping at the buyers expense, to any destination that UPS ships.
