Available for auction is a rebuilt Porsche 964 3.6 liter M64/01 engine. The engine was completely rebuilt to factory specifications by the legendary Auguste Lecourt in St-Catherine, Ontario. The seller states all documentation and receipts of the rebuild will be included with the purchase and can be viewed in the gallery.
The engine was rebuilt to factory specifications with new gaskets, bearings, timing chains etc. The cylinder head was machined to factory specifications and a new 964 camshaft was installed. Engine stamping of 62L01189 can be seen on the crankcase indicating this started out as a 1990 model year 964 engine. Displacement has stayed the same with the use of the original 3.6-liter Mahle pistons and cylinders and 964 crankshaft.
The seller states the twin plug ignition was retained and refreshed with new distributor caps, rotors, spark plugs and wires. The exhaust has also been replaced. The motor has been started and run but never installed in a car. A leak down test was performed and the results can be viewed in the gallery. Don’t miss the opportunity to own a turn key engine ready for immediate install. The buyer is responsbile for shipping, handling, and transactional fees.
