Available for auction is an illuminated Porsche Motorsport sign from the early 2000’s. The seller states this is an original Porsche promotional sign which was used at club meetings in the UK and was purchased from a Porsche GB club member. The sign measures approximately 47” inches in length, and 12” inches in height, with a width of ½” inch. The sign is framed in aluminum with an aluminum backing plate. The seller states the sign is slim in design due to the LED illumination and comes with two supporting hooks attached to the rear to allow the sign to be hung on the wall or ceiling. The sign will come with its own transformer along with a UK plug, however a US or European adapter will be supplied if required for simple 'plug and play' operation.
The seller states the sign is in excellent condition with some minor scratches and marks on the aluminum frame and backing plate. Don’t miss your opportunity to own this impressive Porsche Motorsport sign that will certainly take center stage in any Porsche enthusiast's garage or collection. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.

@orangebox Good morning and thank you for the question.
Yes, I can accept PayPal and direct wire transfers. If PayPal is desired then I would kindly ask for the PayPal payment to be sent via the ‘friends and family’ method as it helps to reduce the additional cost of fees.
Many thanks

@BigTomSesto1962 Good evening, thank you for the question.
Shipping to Los Angeles is going to be in the same estimated price range of around $250. I have found that UPS and FedEx have been reasonably fair in the shipping rates for all areas of America and the rate tends to be the same (whether its the East Coast, Central or West Coast) when goods are being sent from the UK.
I have not as of yet sent any items to Alaska or Hawaii and I do suspect these areas will naturally cost more.
One further point if I may, the packaging of the item and time involved is not charged for. I do have my own materials and I will make sure the item is safe for its journey. The only cost over and above the item itself is the courier fee (UPS or FedEx).
I will say that although UPS tends to be a little more expensive, the service is much smoother and more refined (on most occasions!). UPS shipments sent via the Economy service take around 7 working days and the customs side of things is processed much better than FedEx in my experience (less time delays).
FedEx is by far normally the most competitive when it comes to price, however the time it takes can be around 10-14 days on the Economy service and sometimes a little more than than.
With regards to customs duties, I was pleasantly surprised at how little these can be for goods being sent to the U.S. as opposed to goods coming from the U.S. to the UK. I do believe each state has there own unique rates but it has been noted that the cost of goods exported into the U.S. from the UK has been very minimal so far.
I do hope this helps.
Kind regards
And to ship to Los Angeles, CA?
@por356c My goodness, this took me by surprise. May I just say what a very nice compliment to receive! Thank you sincerely!
I just wanted to compliment the seller on the video that he recorded - it's very helpful. Plus that classic British accent is very reassuring! I hope that this sign stays in my affordable range!
