Available for auction is a rare first edition authentic Porsche Drivers Selection enamel crest. This enamel crest measures 52cm x 40cm and is larger than the more commonly seen crests produced later.
This first edition crest was produced in 2001 as part of a display commemorating the history of the Porsche symbol and was limited to just 1,000 examples. This piece is labeled as number 0021/1000. The Porsche crest is based on the coat of arms of Stuttgart featuring the leaping horse, and the state of Wiirttemberg coat of arms established in 1933.
