Porsche Design and Porsche Exclusive Manufacture have opened a new chapter in their successful collaboration with the launch of their Chronograph Series. Expanding on the unique experience of customization that comes with owning a Porsche, owners are now able to build and customize their very own Porsche Design Chronograph in tandem.The self-winding chronograph is powered by the Porsche Design caliber WERK 01.200, a C.O.S.C. certified, in-house-developed chronograph movement, which guarantees maximum performance.
Like the vehicles, the chronograph combines a timeless design with the highest quality materials.The watch includes the original presentation box with all the documentation. The back of the watch is engraved with the last 6 digits of the VIN of the car that was sold to the original owner. As standard with Porsche Design, its titanium case with black bezel is lightweight and durable. The matte black dial ensures optimal readability, while the bright yellow chronograph hands are derived from the vehicle's tachometer.
The chronograph watch has never been worn on a stylish strap made of genuine Porsche vehicle leather with “GT4 RS” embossing. The strap is finished with stitching in genuine Porsche vehicle yarn. The seller states the watch was purchased new from the Porsche dealership in mint condition. I hope the reserve isn’t high. While it’s a nice piece and I’d like to get one to match my 4 RS, these watches don’t really have much value. They were way overpriced and used as a tactic for dealers to get people to buy them for an allocation.
