The engraving on the back reads "Official License Porsche AG Dr. Ing. h.c.F. Porsche AG / Porscheplatz 1 / D-70435 Stuttgart PORSCHE." 
The name Carrera (Spanish for ‘race’) ultimately commemorates the success of Porsche at the Carrera Panamericana. Porsche's 550 Spyder achieved great success in this famous border-to-border Mexican endurance race in the 1950s. This authentic piece of Porsche history will make a great addition to your collection.
