Personally signed and cataloged by the artist, this original painting would make a beautiful addition to any Porsche enthusiast's art collection.

Stephen Selzler is a fine artist/designer with a focus on automotive culture. Operating out of his studio in Dallas, TX, Selzler has spent the past decade as a practicing graphic designer and brand strategist, serving various luxury and aspirational brands across North America. @BostonRS6 Crating is included in the winning bid, but *not* shipping. I use UPS via a discount provider, so it should be less than $200 freight / $300 2-day air anywhere in the lower 48.

This is beautiful. Is shipping included with the winning bid?

@stephenselzler Thanks for the quick response! I was hoping that’s the case. I’ll be watching this one!

@Trevor98ramair Great question. This one is 1 of 1, as is the vast majority of my studio's work. Previous and successive crest studies either focus on different colorways, lighting elements, embellishment techniques, or featuring a different vintage of crest design.

This one is the largest size to date.

How many paintings were offered of this particular crest? Amazing work!

Hey everyone, thanks again for supporting my studio’s work and checking out this rendition of the Stuttgart crest.

This one’s modeled after a slight tweak that happened c. 1974, albeit fairly nuanced and perhaps not as prevalent as the very heavy embellishment featured on this particular painting. I’ve found incredible feedback from folks in the Porsche world who may not own a particular model of car I feature in my repertoire (vast majority of my work features automobiles in studio/outdoor environments) but are absolutely bananas about collecting memorabilia and art that document Porsche heritage and marque identity. I displayed this along with some other emblem works in production at a PCA-sanctioned concours which garnered a lot of attention, at which point folks were disappointed that Crest No. 021 was committed to PCarMarket and couldn’t be snagged at the show. This is all to say: the auction winner here will be receiving an item that is relatively coveted among my collectors and may signify the beginning of a slight shift in my work. It’s an exciting piece and eats up a ton of wall space, so the right utility points are all there despite the provenance.

Anyway, I’d be delighted to see you all bid and comment with your feedback. Be sure to follow me on Instagram (@stephenselzler) and connect with me if you have a project in mind. Cheers,

    -SS
