Available for auction is a set of Brembo brake calipers painted in red, designed for the Porsche 911 (991) Carrera and compatible with a range of 911/930 models with customization. This complete set includes four used Porsche Brembo competition four-piston calipers, front and rear, featuring aluminum bodies, an opposed four-piston design, and machined Porsche logos.

The calipers come with mounting brackets and pad springs. The seller states although their exact model fitment is uncertain, they were originally acquired for a Porsche but never installed. Renowned for high-performance braking, Brembo components are widely used in sports and performance vehicles, with Porsche integrating them into its engineering for optimal stopping power. These calipers are paired with larger cross-drilled rotors, delivering enhanced braking performance, shorter stopping distances, and greater control in extreme driving conditions.

The seller states overall, the condition of the set is very good, making this a prime opportunity to upgrade your Porsche’s braking system with authentic high-performance components. @bornonjuly4 Hello and thanks for asking. I'm really not 100% sure if these will fit your 991 GT3 year 2015, but I would inquire with local mechanics or even check in with social media blogs that might have the answer for you. Unfortunately, I'm not a mechanic or knowledgeable enough in spite of owning my 3rd Porsche 993 and over 10 earlier model 911's since the 80's. >>> If someone out there knows the answer please let us know.

    Will this fit a 991 911 GT3 (2015)?

Hello Joe and thanks for inquiring. Again, I purchased these large Brembo Brake Calipers around 5years ago. I'm not 100% on clearance on your 15" Fuchs wheels fitment. Maybe there's some Blogs on this matter for larger brake calipers on "Pelican Parts". I'm not sure about any "mounting brackets" to get you pictures of. I'm not a mechanic and I'm not sure what they even look like other than to look at my 1996 Carrera-2 that has the same exact Brembo's ( Colored Blue in pics) on them now. All I have is what you see in the pictures. Thanks again!

Mounting brackets are mentioned above, I maybe missing them but can you post pictures of them? Any idea what diameter wheel is required to clear these. I am guessing the 15", 7" & 8" Fuchs I am running on my 78' SC will not clear these. Thanks, Joe in Hudson

Off all indications noted below ( part numbers and physical comparisons) this set of Large Brembo Brake Calipers will surely fit the Porsche 993 model...993 TT, S, (2) or (4). Again, this set of calipers and rotors can be custom fitted on earlier models. ( See latest pics uploaded on yesterday to view physical comparison on my 993 coupe Carrera-2)

    Okay, I have more...
2 months ago I just purchased a 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera-2 Coupe that coincidentally has the same upgraded Large Brembo Calipers ( Blue Paint Color) on them. ( See newly uploaded pics). As well, please see comparison of Cross-drilled Rotors that are identical. Thickness is very good. Again, I saw numbers listed on Brembo Calipers at #20.5248.00 and #20.5249.00 stamped inside of each caliper.

    Questions:
What is the hole distance for mounting the caliper?
    What is the rotor diameter?
What is the rotor thickness (width) and stamped minimum with?
Are there any part numbers on calipers or rotors?
Answers will help decide what Pcar they may/may-not fit.

  • Guyc2 (registered bidder) 1 day, 22 hoursago

@pcar--need to remove the 991 from description, they used a much different caliper--if I had to guess they came off a 993 like the rotors.

@sag2 Hello and thanks for asking. I purchased these calipers and front rotors roughly 5 years ago ( I never got around to install on a previous 911 I have since sold ). I believe they were removed from a 911S that had got broad-sided (hit) that was custom fit with lots of upgrades such as a 3.6-Liter engine, steel wide body fenders, etc.. So, the Porsche was parted out. The rotors have the 993 part number stamped on them as indicated below. Anyway, my understanding is that they'll fit 911, 911SC, 911 Carrera or Carrera 993 ( Custom fit ).

  • sag2 (registered bidder) 2 days, 11 hoursago

    What were they removed from?
