The painting seen here is based on a vehicle that was recently listed on Pcarmarket and can be purchased here. Available for auction is a painting by Greg Stirling featuring the 997 GT3 Cup car. This 25" x 40" painting is made from acrylic paint, applied by hand and airbrush, along with pencil and marker highlights on canvas - stretched on 1 1/2 x 7/8 inch stretcher bars. The painting was then finished with a UV protective clear coating. This series showcases Greg Stirling's approach to realism using his favorite and visually appealing subjects.
Unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show and largely based on 997.2 GT3 RS, the 997.2 GT3 Cup is a track-only model featuring a naturally-aspirated 3.8L engine producing 444 HP, This 2012 example was raced in the English GT3 Cup competition and wears a chrome wrap with blue and red accents over the original white finish.
Greg Stirling started painting in 1980. After going through three decades of self-guided exploration in abstract expressionism, the art of the 20th century, and post-war impressionism, he arrived at the door of realism. To continue his area of study, Greg experimented with new techniques, media as well as innovative processes and concepts. Mr. Stirling is also an engineer, kinetic metal sculptor, and automotive enthusiast. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

@jbauto Hello Jbauto, Thank you for the compliment! Actually I have a 'Ferrari 488 GT3 in Dubai' painting if you are interested. (also have a Formula 1 - SF90, Vettel in the works) You can see it and others at www.gregstirlingart.com in Automotive Paintings. I do commissions, so you can have any car on any background and in any size just depends on your budget. I can put a Ferrari painting on this site if Pcar is interested, or you can contact me through my site for further information. Thanks! Greg Stirling
I'm a Ferrari guy, but I have to say, this painting looks fantastic. Would look good hanging just about anywhere IMHO. GL
