@vintiquemotors both Patrick Motorsports and Instant-g sell 3.6L mounting kits. I have not done this myself but do know additional oil cooling is required as well. There are many 3.6L swapped into G-bodies .
Bid in the amount of $13,999
@AlexBert Any insight to how much modification would be required to the car and/or engine to get this in a '85 G-Body?
@AlexBert Great news ! Can @pcar confirm or can you link to govt website where this is indicated ?
I am in the import/export business myself and it can be complicated, just want to confirm. Thanks so much

Is it possible to show confirmation where you secured the information that Tariff apply only on new parts ?
If that was correct, would it also apply to used cars ? no tariff ? i am pretty sure we know that is not right.
@pcar please let us know
@windsurfar Verifications were made. Tariffs apply on NEW parts. Idea behind this is to transfert production ( and jobs ) into the US of A.
Fair enough. Good Call POTUS!
Bid in the amount of $13,445
From the White House fact sheet on automobile tariffs. Dates mar 26.
“The 25% tariff will be applied to imported passenger vehicles (sedans, SUVs, crossovers, minivans, cargo vans) and light trucks, as well as key automobile parts (engines, transmissions, powertrain parts, and electrical components), with processes to expand tariffs on additional parts if necessary.”
Looks like it is possible a 25% tariff to import this engine to US after April 2. Can anyone confirm this?
@pcar would be helpful if you could check this out to help potential cross border buyers and sellers.
