Available for auction is an art piece by Greg Stirling featuring the "Porsche 917 Le Mans Victory".  This 53" x 33" artwork is a single edition hand embellished giclée print on canvas.  Made from poly-cotton canvas material and printed with fade-resistant inks, then hand-applied UV resistant acrylic gel is applied to ensure its longevity.  Included with this art piece is a certificate of authenticity that includes exact specifications, details of the artwork, and how it was created.

The Porsche 917 is a sports prototype race car developed by German manufacturer Porsche to exploit the regulations regarding the construction of 5-liter sports cars. Powered by a Type 912 flat-12 engine which was progressively enlarged from 4.5 to 5.0 liters, the 917 was introduced in 1969 and went on to dominate sports-car racing in 1970 and 1971.

Greg Stirling lives and creates in San Jose, California. He recently became a member of the Guild of Motoring Artists, and his work has been featured in numerous automotive art auctions.  He started creating art in 1980.  After going through three decades of self-guided exploration in abstract expressionism, the art of the 20th century, and post-war impressionism, he arrived at the door of realism. To continue his area of study, Greg experimented with new techniques, media as well as innovative processes and concepts. Mr. Stirling is also an engineer, kinetic metal sculptor, and automotive enthusiast.

A message from the seller: "For this piece I envisioned a vintage racing art poster concept.  I always liked the warm color palette presented in post war impressionism. This original art piece is canvas that is stretched, gallery wrapped and ready to hang.  Pictures on the walls are to scale.  A portion of the proceeds from this auction will be donated to charity."

@Mikezartwork Hello Mike, the process is described in detail in the profile and C.O.E. This an AI generated image which is digitally corrected and enhanced, giclee’ printed, then hand embellished to add highlights and texture.

Do you have progress photos showing you doing any of "painting" or is this just an AI generated image printed on canvas?
