Available for auction is a rear “tea tray” spoiler which is said to have been removed from a 1988 Porsche 911 SC Carrera. According to the seller, the spoiler has been refinished in Grand Prix White by a previous owner. It is made of fiberglass and features a black aluminum grille and a black rubber lip that wraps around the sides. Porsche branding and part numbers can be seen on both the body and the lip. The seller notes red paint is visible on the underside.
The rubber surround is in exceptional condition as is the white fiberglass surround. The spoiler has Porsche certifications/numbers and comes with a rubber mounting gasket. The spoiler bears the part number 930.512.023.00 (please see gallery). The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.

I bought it for my turbo body 79SC but according to the previous owner it came off his 88 Carrera. I didn't take it off, nor put it on anything.
The 911SC was build during 1978-1983. So you didn't take it off a 1988 SC.

The spoiler will be carefully wrapped in a box with proper packaging and will weigh approximately 35lbs. Box dimensions will be 53"L x 26" W x 12"H.
This spoiler is in remarkable shape given it's age and clearly has been very well taken care of.
Any idea of shipping / packaging cost to get it to CA?

Any idea what shipping to chicago would run?
Hello Porsche aficionados. I purchased this Tea Tray to be installed on my Grand Prix White widebody 911 in May 2023. I decided against installing as I loved the look of the widebody without a tail. It was a very tough call as the paint match was perfect/identical to my 911, which sold in December 2023 on Pcarmarket.
I am available to answer any questions and happy to help facilitate a seamless sale to the next owner out of Blaine, WA. For any perspective Canadian bidders, I can make available on the Canadian side of the border.
Cheers and happy bidding.
