Up for auction is a superbly detailed 1:4 scale model of a 1966 2.0 liter Porsche flat-six engine by Franzis.  This 290 piece kit gets you in touch with the legendary engineering of the air-cooled marvel that is the Boxer engine.  The transparent casing allows a full view of the working distributor, valves actuated by functioning camshafts, spark plugs "firing" with LEDs in the correct 1-6-2-4-3-5 firing order, spinning cooling fan and more.  This model also has a sound module built into the display stand that emits the inimitable Boxer engine sound.  Please note that the model in the photo gallery will not be included with the sale.  This is a representation of what the piece will look like when fully assembled.
