Available for auction is a full set of Porsche carbon ceramic brake rotors and pads from a 2006 3.8L Carrera S.
The seller states the brakes had just under 98k highway miles on them and were never used for track days. They worked great when removed, and were taken off as the car was beginning to be used for HPDE. The rotors were taken to Porsche Minneapolis for an inspection, and the dealer said they were in great condition and had many miles left. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees

Probably would of been more headache than worth on a 964.
Yup I know they'd fit a 996 or 997. Not sure about a 964 Widebody with some caliper adapters.
It is too bad that every dismantler just looks at the new option price and thinks each rotors is $$$. Makes owning PCCB problematic and thus not always a great resale option or thing to retrofit. But to enjoy them they should help a lot with car performance and safety.
It's a 996/997 Turbo & C2S front offset. The 997 turbos come in 380mm size while these are 350mm. The rear also 996/997 Turbo & C2S offset but the 996TT needs a spacer for the rear calipers.
I think so. My real number was 3k so arscottp saved $500 if he really wanted them!
Hopefully he has the right car for these; I wasn't really sure if I was going to be able to fit them given offsets etc.
Seems like a fair price. Make sure you get a few wheel hangers to make sure to guide the rim on install. These rotors are easily chipped.
Hahaha guess I shouldn't have stopped for gas on the way home! Enjoy them!

Hi Team, seller here, any last minute questions feel free to send and I'll answer what I can. Barrett
The 'dime' is placed to show the location (just to the outside) of the oem wear dot. It is so hard to focus on it! These are so clean, not even a stain from brake fluid. Good Bidding.

98Supra6Spd- thanks for your interest. As the seller, I would hate to make a mistake in checking parts fitment if it did not work. I think your best bet is to check with your local shop and confirm fitment. Or post a question on Rennlist- a super helpful community. Apologize for the non-answer, but I am not sure what other models they fit. If your car came with OEM Ceramics this should be a slam dunk, but YMMV.
I would like to think that these factory ceramic rotors and brake pads would be compatible with the stock calipers currently found on my new to me, 2004 996.2 911 Turbo 6-speed with the red calipers. If you have any insight on whether or not these ceramic brake parts would work with my application, please let me know.

Team, all brakes are 350mm, confirmed by measuring across with a tape meausre (13 3/4"). Also added some pics for part numbers and data if needed. Again, these are so clean, no crazing, no stress markes, no stains, no discoloration, no divots.
Good Morning and thank you for the question. In my research (and in contacting the Service Manager @ Porsche Minneapolis where I showed them the brakes in person) I found out that on these brakes the service life measurement is no longer a thickness measurement. Porsche considers it an inspection for cracks/divots and also a visual inspection of the round service life 'dot' that is imprinted into the brakes. Please note there are ZERO CRACKS or CHIPS in these rotors- I tried to include as many pics as possible to show the quality of the rotors. Also, the dime is placed in the pictures to show the service life 'dot' just above it. It is hard to see in pictures. I did however take measurements with my home calipers to show the thickness as well. Please see the pictures in the large picture pack. To clarify, the fronts measure just over 34- rears at just over 28mm. I will check 350 or 380mm and report back.
Can you post the thickness measurements as well as any chips and cracks
and if they are 380 or 350 mm
Thanks
Hello P Car Members, I"m the seller, here to help answer any questions on my set of PCCBs. I had these on a 2006 997.1S, and in preparing the car for the track I bought some Steelies, so took these off to preserve them. For street driving there is NO COMPARISON, PCCB is amazing, great stopping power, great feel/response due to the very light weight- and NO BRAKE DUST! Well, it just so happens that the car didn't make it back from track time at Road America alive......so here I find myself with a nice set of PCCB ready for the next person. This would be a good set up for anyone with PCCB that are needing new brakes and do not want to convert to steel, or even folks who have Steel and want to experience the Joys of Carbon/Ceramic. Feel free to ask any questions, I will answer as best as I can. These will be shipped in double layer packaging, so that means it will cost a bit extra to send them insured to you- buyer to pay actual shipping costs from 55345. Good Luck and Good Bidding!
