Available for auction is an original acrylic painting on canvas of Ken Block’s Hoonipigasus - A 1,400-HP mid-engined twin-turbo Porsche 911 by US-based automotive artist Mike Zagorski. This 18” x 36” x 1-3/8” painting is finished in acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas. 
The wild 1,400 horsepower Porsche 911 nicknamed the "Hoonipigasus" was built by the Pikes Peak-winning Porsche builder BBi Autosport for Ken Block to compete in the 2022 Pike Peak Hill Climb event. A mechanical failure occurred just days before the event, forcing the team to give up on the weekend's race. Sadly, Ken Blocks' life was cut short in January 2023. It was recently announced that Ken Block's daughter, Lia Block, an avid racer herself, will take part in the honorary tribute lap at the upcoming Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2023. 
About the Artist: Originally from Scotland, Mike Zagorski is a Colorado, USA-based artist focused on painting Formula 1 and automotive subjects in a style combining realism to capture the main subject and impressionism for backgrounds. In addition to obsessing over capturing small details, he gravitates towards painting wet races with intermediate or full wet tires, and airborne water droplets! Trained and licensed as an architect, after a 20-year hiatus from artwork while working in the AEC industry, he started painting during the pandemic in 2020. In a very short time, his work has made it into collections around the world and is owned by current and former F1 drivers, employees within the F1 industry, and fans of the sport.
