Available for auction is an original Ferrari 275 GTB and GTS document pouch tailored for early models produced between 1964 and 1966. This exceedingly rare set showcases a collection of early version documents that originated from a right-hand drive (RHD) 1966 Ferrari car. Among the treasures included in this set are:
1. Owner's Manual #01/65: A pristine example of the original owner's manual from early 1965, providing insights into the operation, maintenance, and care of these iconic vehicles.
2. Spare Parts Catalog #03/65: This comprehensive catalog, dated March 1965, offers an intricate overview of spare parts, complete with a specific appendix for both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) cars, making it an invaluable resource for vintage Ferrari enthusiasts.
3. Dealer Directory from 1966: A piece of Ferrari's past, this directory from 1966 published by Grafiche ''Elleci'' in Bologna, Italy, provides a glimpse into the authorized dealerships of the era and their locations.
4. MABO Magneti Marelli Service Directory - Luglio (July) 1966: This directory from July 1966, detailing service information related to the Magneti Marelli components used in Ferrari vehicles, adds another layer of authenticity to this remarkable set.
Though the passage of time has left its mark, this set remains in remarkably good condition considering its age. The documents comprising the owner's manual, spare parts catalog, and dealer directory exhibit minimal signs of use, standing as a testament to their careful preservation over the years. The MABO Magneti Marelli directory displays some wrinkles indicative of long-term storage.
Encased within a leather pouch, the physical condition of the pouch is impressive, showing only minor wear. The clasp, a crucial component of the pouch, is functional and securely attached. While some slight staining and overall scratching can be observed, they do not detract from the historical significance and collectible value of this exceptional set.
Having been stored with utmost care for decades, this original Ferrari 275 GTB and GTS document pouch with its accompanying early version documents is an incredible find for avid Ferrari collectors, vintage car enthusiasts, and automotive history connoisseurs alike. Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of Ferrari's legacy that encapsulates an era of automotive excellence. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

Here we go! Remaining day of the auction. We are still quite a bit from the reserve. However; when there will be enough serious interest I will drop the reserve way below its current one, which will be a great opportunity before it hits the Dealtank.
Enjoy the bidding! True Ferraristi know what such sets usually sell for.

Or better said it is a liquid stain.
We will have to agree to disagree but that is definitely a water stain on the manual pouch.

@Bastiaanrl thanks.
@Butane Thanks for the message.
As can be seen on the photos and mentioned in the advertisement there is some staining visible to to leather. It is only some staining and no major (like water) damage. If the staining happened because of water I don’t know. The booklets are very intact. Could be because of some wrong cleaning in the past. This is hard to recall. 60 years is a long time.
Will upload some extra photos soon to have the details on the leather condition more clear for all bidders.
In my opinion well preserved manuals do not get stained. You would not agree this is done from an outside source? I have preserved a manual pouch for 20 years and there has been no change in the leather. Why should there be ? I am just trying to understand your take on this and why.
So it is not water stained? It quite easy to tell if it is water stained.
@Butane There is some staining visible. Probably due to the long time storage. It’s only, I would say slightly , visible to the outside leather and mentioned in order to avoid any misunderstandings afterwards. The leather is about 60 years old. Overall the pouch is in a good condition, especially considering the age.
By staining do mean the manual pouch is water marked?
Additional info;
These booklets are first editions, not later reprints.
