Available for auction is an extremely rare early Porsche 911/914-6 traveler kit. Porsche offered this travel kit for European-delivered cars, providing the traveler with potentially needed parts for an extended European trip through areas that may not have immediate parts access.
According to the seller, this kit has been stored indoors and is in incredible condition for its age. Many of the parts in the kit are still placed in their original plastic as they were delivered. The plugs have their protective paper caps and all pockets, sleeves, and pouches are in excellent condition. An oil drain plug, cylinder head gaskets, misc gaskets, carb rebuild kit, plus a valve spring, were all included along with smaller parts.
This particular kit would’ve originally been assigned to Weber-equipped 2.0 liter cars. However, as the years progressed, the kits were largely similar so different gaskets and plugs would make this kit appropriate for cars from 2.0, 2.2, and 2.4 cars. The original kits differ significantly from the recently-produced copies, which were built in an effort to satisfy the demand for the sought-after originals.
The seller states the bag has only extremely minor soiling but that the original belt clasps and leather straps are still in pliable, unbroken condition making this kit even rarer.
This is your opportunity to obtain an original, vintage Porsche travel kit, making a great addition to your Concours car or collection of Porsche memorabilia.

Hello All,
This travel kit was taken out of a wrecked '60's (can't remember exact year) 911 back in the late '80's. I had a Porsche repair facility back then and it was a car that we parted out. Still have the 5psd trans from it that needs to go also. I was going through some old stuff and found this so figured someone out there could use it. It is missing some items but I think it could be restocked without too much trouble. I see a lot of reproductions out there but not many of these originals. Thanks for looking!
