Available for auction is an original 1965 Aston Martin DB5 complete front nose end constructed of a single aluminum panel. It has been stripped down to bare metal and is in good condition overall, according to the seller.
The seller reports some welding was done in the lower and upper front sections and a small split in the left wing's top edge. The seller also notes an area where the front side lights are situated has been cut out and would require re-patching.
The DB5 was produced at Aston Martin’s Newport Pagnell plant under license for Touring of Milan and features the Touring’s Superleggera construction in which aluminum is formed over a tubular frame. This panel exemplifies the way Aston Martins of this vintage were made.
This stunning DB5 front end would make for a great conversational piece and could be displayed as artwork or furniture. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

Hello 2mAn, I have now received some quotes. iContainers quoted sea freight $939.45 (40 days). With this quote I would deliver the item down to the port here in the U.K, & the item would need to be collected from the port in LA. These services can be added for extra charge on their website. Seven Seas Worldwide quoted sea freight $832.68 (90 days). This quote is door-to-door shipping (I stated a nominal postal code in Long Beach, LA for the quote). Fed-Ex air freight quoted $1,663.00. I have also contacted DHL for sea freight but have not received their quote yet. I hope this helps.
Hello 2mAn, I just wanted to let you know I have contacted a freight forwarder & will hopefully have some information on the shipping cost by tomorrow.
@2mAn Hello, I will find out for you. I will revert to you on Monday, as all the freight forwarders will be closed over the weekend. Many thanks.
Any idea what shipping would cost to the US? Long Beach/ Los Angeles is my location but Im sure others will have a similar concern
Hello, I just wanted to let everyone know I am here to answer any questions as best I can. Also, to let everybody know that I am based in the U.K, so there might be a delay in answering some of questions due to the time zone difference! Many thanks for looking!
