Other equipment includes projector headlamps, headlight washers, integrated fog lights, power mirrors, an electric sunroof, and dual exhaust tips. The cabin is appointed with Sand Beige leather upholstery complemented by burl wood trim and a black leather three-spoke M Sport steering wheel. Accessories include heated and power-adjustable front seats, driver position memory, automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, a navigation system, a sound system, and a digital onboard computer.
Equipped with a 4.4-liter M66TUB44 V8 engine rated at 282 HP and 324 lb.-ft of torque, this 540i features a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels. The car is equipped with sport suspension, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. A service completed in 2016 included a new water pump, thermostat, and throttle body. The ignition coils, spark plugs, and oil pan gasket were replaced in 2017 and the lower control arms were replaced in 2018. A brake fluid flush was performed in 2023 along with the replacement of the intake manifold gasket. Most recently, the valve cover gaskets were replaced in preparation for sale.

Hi what are the date codes on the tires? I could see 2018 on the continentals but couldn't make it out on the Toyos.
Nice E39! There is a 2018 service invoice showing an estimate for replacing the upper and lower control arms. I apologize if I missed it, but is there another invoice showing the work was done?

I live in Fla. sold my 2001(I loved it) in 2007,it was-always garaged, rust slowly eating undercarriage, around windowsills, rockers, exhaust etc. Sold it,THIS a beauty but 2001-20024 is 23 years in harsh Florida ocean environments for car longevity.
