They were offered for a total of thirteen months for the North American market. The exact number produced is unknown but finding a nicely preserved original pair is extremely rare.
The seller states the seats are in great original condition, the perforated leather is soft and has developed a nice patina. Both the manual recline and slider work as well as the four-way power height adjustment. The seller states the seats are equipped with heat, however, he has never used them. @UpNorthMN Yes, those boxes work great. I have some similar boxes but double walled instead of single walled like the wardrobe boxes. they hold up very well.
In case it helps, I shipped our seats to be restored in U-haul wardrobe boxes (one per box). They were a good fit!
Is there a reserve ?
@TheGerman I don't see why not. If going to Germany I would assume a freight forwarder would handle the logistics. No problem on my end to pack them up and deliver them one of the many in the area.
