Available for auction is a pair OEM Porsche 993 K16 Turbochargers. The seller states these were purchased as stock K16 turbochargers after they were taken off a 1996 993 Twin Turbo with about 40K miles on it. The turbos were working fine and they were removed because the host car was being modified with a different turbocharging setup. After acquiring the stock turbos, the seller sent them to the very reputable Evergreen Turbo in Ocala, FL to remanufacture both turbos. They were expertly remanufactured to stock specification with a small improvement to the bearing housing line bore to facilitate oil cooling and longevity. They are completely ready for installation as original, plate correct, 993 K16 Turbos.
Original 993 K16s are no longer available, only compatible versions from the OEM supplier, or superseded K16 turbos from Porsche with expensive core charges attached. Those options have different castings and ID plate locations and numbers. This is an opportunity to acquire rebuilt factory correct 993 K16 turbochargers.

These are doing quite well, I have a pair of Promotive-rebuilt / upgraded turbos that Im not sure what I want to do with yet...

Thanks for checking out my auction and for the early bids. After years of owning 993 Turbos I am sadly without one, so it's time to move these original 993 turbocharger units to where they can be used or shelved as spares. Pretty straight forward and completely plug and play units, but don't hesitate to post or send me any questions.
