Available for auction is a new old stock Porsche 944 Turbo engine. The engine number is M44/51 45G00087 and has never been installed in a car. The seller states, originally the engine was purchased by a Porsche race team and carried as a spare. The engine was never needed and was subsequently sold to the current owner’s father in 2002, who also carried it as a spare engine for his 944 Turbo race cars.
The 944 Turbo engine produced in 1986 was a 2.5 liter 8:1 compression with 217 hp. The seller states the engine is complete and comes on an engine stand that will be included with the purchase. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling and transactional fees.
