Available for auction are NOS BBS Motorsport centerlock wheels for the Porsche 993. The seller states the wheels were originally purchased from Porsche Motorsport in 1996 as spare wheels for a 993 RSR. These aluminum and magnesium wheels have been stored in their original boxes and moved several times over the years.

The set includes 18x9.5" (ET43) front wheels and 18x11" (ET40) rear wheels. While designed for the Porsche 993, they may fit other models—buyers should confirm fitment prior to bidding. The seller states the wheels remain in excellent condition with only a few light scuffs on the outer barrel lips from storage.

Some green oxidation is visible on the raw magnesium. This rare set, available in both centerlock and 5-lug (5x130) configurations, is a unique opportunity for collectors and motorsport enthusiasts. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.

The seller states: "The box lists the front wheels as 9.5 inches wide, but their actual width is 10 5/8 inches, likely accounting for the bead seat. The rear wheels measure 11 7/8 inches, which suggests that BBS classifies them as 11 inches."

Coming down to the last 15 minutes! Good Luck!

  • GroupCCuration (seller) 6 days, 5 hoursago

I have a set of 996 RSR wheels with me at work today. A similar wheel to the one you see here albeit no drilling for 5 lug mounting and they look nearly the same(finish). Being that the wheels were made for Motorsport perhaps the finishing of the base magnesium to being completely flat wasn't a priority. 956 and 962 Wheels are similar as well.

  • gpmotors (registered bidder) 6 days, 5 hoursago

Is there a reason why the wheel look extremely pitted? Almost like they are deteriating?

I have a 993 rsr on speed lines centerlocks right now but these would look amazing. Would fit perfect

Good morning! Final day of bidding! I borrowed some photos online from Iconic Auctioneers of an original RSR that sold and clipped a profile shot and a wheel shot showing a similar set of BBS Motorsport wheels! Please be in touch if you have any questions!

@banker According to the PO the GT2 runs 9 and 11s. These would be very close but I can’t guarantee fitment.

    Will these fit 993 GT2

Thanks for pointing that out @group911. I misunderstood what you were asking. BBS states the front wheels are 9.5" wide for the front(see the description on the box). I would gather that the rears are classified at 11".

The seller states: "The box lists the front wheels as 9.5 inches wide, but their actual width is 10 5/8 inches, likely accounting for the bead seat. The rear wheels measure 11 7/8 inches, which suggests that BBS classifies them as 11 inches."

Not sure where the other end of your tape is but it would appear these measure 10 and 11.5 between the inner lips on the back side of the outer rims which is where wheels are ordinarily measured. Yes they are set up for center lock for cup cars, no they won't fit without new barrels.

  • GroupCCuration (seller) 1 week, 3 daysago

Thank you for the question @woody! The style for the mount should be the same between Speedline and BBS. Do know that the overall width is considerably different between an RSR and a Supercup.

  • Woody (registered bidder) 1 week, 3 daysago

Would these wheels fit a 1995 supercup with center locks?

Good morning. That link is to the video that I put together showing the wheel condition. Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Good morning. Spent some time with a tape measure this am and was able to diagram the wheel widths, broken down to the outer and inner barrels. Please see that in the gallery. Please note that this is a little difficult to photograph based on angles and the fact that you are not measuring a flat surface. Please let me know if this will suffice!

Good morning @Bankrep40. The likelihood of them fitting your car without serious augmentation is unlikely. 993 RSR's wore the largest over fenders of any 993s widening them ~60mm beyond the width of a standard car.

  • Bankrep40 (registered bidder) 1 week, 5 daysago

Will these fit a 993 narrow cab

  • GroupCCuration (seller) 1 week, 5 daysago

Thank you for the note and request! I will have that for you and video on Monday!

Can you post a picture of the ruler laid across the wheel from the inside of the outer rim.

Hello and welcome to the auction! I am proud to represent these fantastic pieces of Porsche Motorsport history on PCarMarket for a very good friend of mine! As the description says, these were purchased, in period, from Porsche Motorsport as a set of "spares" for a 993 RSR. They are in great shape and would go very well in HSR or a hot rod!

These wheels do not have offsets listed(modular 3 piece wheels) so I did some math to some up with what is shown:

Please reference the last 4 photos for confirmation of these calculations:

    Front Wheel:

    Overall Width is 10.375"
    Half of that is 5.1875"
The distance from the back of the wheel to the hub is 6.875
    6.875-5.1875" = 1.6875"
1.6875" to MM = 42.8625mm or 43mm. So front is +43MM as the hub is biased to the outside of the wheel.

    Rear Wheel:

    Overall width is 11.875"
    Half of that is 5.9375"
The distance from the back of the wheel to the hub is 7.5"
    7.5" - 5.9375" = 1.5625",
1.5625" to MM = 39.6875, lets round that up to 40mm, So the front is +40MM as the hub is biased to the outside of the wheel.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you regarding these fantastic wheels!
