Available for auction is a collection consisting of 11 vintage stopwatches/ timers that evoke a time when cars had 3 pedals and timers were mechanical. The seller states that all the watches are mounted on metal dash plates bearing the name of a famous race track or rallye, and then mounted on Walnut wood display plaques. The plates themselves can be removed and dash mounted.



3 Marcel et Cie: The first is a 2 pusher 1/10 second watch, 30 second outer dial and a 60 second inner dial in red with a15 minute register.  The second is a 2 pusher  1/5 second timer.  It has a white face with a 60 second outer dial in red, a 100 second inner dial in black,  and a 1 hour register.   The third dates to the late 1950’s.  It is a 2 pusher 1/10 second timer.  It has a black 60 second outer dial, a 30 second red inner dial and a 15 minute register.  It is on a triple plate with the legend ‘Spa Francorchamps’.



2 Heuer: The first is a 2 pusher Trackstar. The dial features alternating black and red dials for 3 and 60 seconds with a 15 minute register. It is on a double plate with the legend 'Mille Miglia’.



2 Lustro: A pair of matching watches in spectacular condition. They are 2 pusher models with 60 second dials and 30 minute registers. The legend on the plate reads ‘Laguna Seca’.



Smiths: A 2 pusher model smith was famous for being one of the primary suppliers of instruments to British car builders.  It features a60 second idle with a one hour register finished in red and black.  It has the legend Le Mans on the plate.



Breitling: A 1/5 second timer with a 60 second dial and a 30 minute register.  The plate has the legend ‘Le Mans.



Hanhart:  A 3 pusher Premier model ref.  DBGM 7016 145.  It is a 1/5 second timer with a 30 second black outer dial and a red 60 second inner dial with a red 15 minute register.  Mounted on a walnut display plaque with the legend Circuit de Monaco.



Hanhart: A 2 pusher 1/10 second PIC model.  The watch has a black 30 second outer dial and a red 60 second inner dial with a 15 minute register.   The dash plate is engraved ‘Bridgehampton’.
