Available for auction is an illuminated Gulf sign featuring a striking three-dimensional blue “Gulf” logo set against an orange and white background. Constructed with a translucent panel housed in a durable aluminum enclosure, this single-sided sign measures approximately 26″ wide by 26″ tall by 7″ deep. 
Internal illumination is provided by two fluorescent bulbs, and it is wired for 120-volt circuitry. Manufacturer stickers identify it as a Duralite Ind. piece from Williamsburg, Ohio. Stated by the seller to be presented in very good condition, this sign is a fantastic collectible for automotive enthusiasts and Gulf memorabilia collectors alike.

Welcome to the auction of this Gulf sign. I have owned it for about 20 years. The sign originally belonged to my father in law who owned a gulf gas station in Pottsville Pa. I hung III in my heated garage for maybe 10 years. When we moved from PA to CT it was in dry storage for the last 10 years. I am happy to answer any of your questions to the best of my ability.
