These fender mats were made for mechanics to provide a safe solution when leaning over engine bays while working on a car. They often featured various part manufacturers and were a great piece of advertisement.
Champion spark plugs have a long and storied history in the automotive industry, dating back to the early 20th century. The company was founded in 1908 in Boston, Massachusetts, by engineer Robert A. Stranahan and investor Frank D. Stranahan.
