Available for auction is a Tag Heuer Formula One model 380.513/1 watch. In the late 1980s, Tag Heuer introduced a collection of colorful watches. This one was finished in red, white and black. The sale includes its original case and papers.
The watch booklet depicts Aryton Senna’s McLaren MP4/5. Included with the sale is a 1/43 model of the same race car, which had Tag Heuer as a sponsor, placement on the front nose of the car. According to the seller, the watch is in mint condition with a new battery installed. There are no scratches on the crystal. The included booklets, inner plastic case and outer box are in good condition.

Hi All - just a couple hours to go.
Wanted to share in case some not aware. These watches do indeed have a rotating bezel, so it’s not just for looks. The rotating bezel if you’re not familiar goes counter clockwise and allows you to do measure elapsed time by rotating the 0 to a specific start of an event. Most notably used on diver’s watches.

It’s definitely a rare find to have a complete package. Whoever wins won’t be disappointed. I think these are still relatively unknown and will increase in value as more people get into F1.

good lord this is a wonderful set. i have the same watch without the additional documents and packaging. this should fetch ~ $2,000 and would be worth it.

@merlin12 I don’t believe the watch has ever been worn based on condition. The strap looks, feels, smells fresh and doesn’t have the usual stretch that you would see on these original F1 watches.
