Available for auction is a painted Porsche 996 hood. The hood was professionally painted and high-grade vinyl stickers were applied to make this unique tribute piece. The Martini racing livery is a nod to the 935 that was driven to victory by Jacky Ickx and Jochen Mass at the 6-hour Circuit de Dijon-Prenois endurance race in 1976. The back of the hood has custom made hooks with a metal bar support for mounting purposes. This beautiful piece would be a great addition to any garage or collection. Buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

You could be right, I didn't remove it from the car myself and I was told it was a 996..........Either way it looks great hanging on the wall.
I think this is a 930 hood, not a 996.
