The Porsche 930 is a turbocharged variant of the iconic Porsche 911 sports car, manufactured by the German automobile manufacturer Porsche between 1975 and 1989. Porsche began experimenting with turbocharging technology in their race cars during the late 1960s. In 1972, they started developing a turbocharged version of the 911. Originally intended for homologation purposes, the 911 Turbo quickly gained popularity among enthusiasts. By the end of 1975, 400 units were produced. 3.3-liter air-cooled turbocharged flat-six engine (later models)282 hp and 289 lb-ft (3.3-liter.
