Available for auction is a classic Volante Nardi steering wheel in dark walnut, featuring the distinctive black center circle. This new old stock (NOS) wheel was originally intended for a 1964 Porsche 912 and remains in excellent, as-new condition with no marks or damage.
Measuring 14" in diameter, it includes both the factory Nardi horn button and an aftermarket Porsche horn button, offering versatility in styling. Also included are two sets of mounting bolts—matte black and stainless steel—along with a black horn ring.
The seller states the steering wheel is in excellent condition, making this a rare opportunity to own an iconic piece of Porsche history. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.

Sold for $500
And if you don't know much about steering wheels, then don't tell people it's NOS and a "rare opportunity"
This video will tell you that the 68016 number is the serial number. The fact that there are others with that same number tells you it's a fake. There are tons of them for sale, typically for $108

to TubeGuy.......I don't know about steering wheels having seriel numbers but I doubt that they do, I would guess it is a style number. The wheel came froma local shop that does restorations and I was told that the customer landed up going with a banjo style wheel. The Nardi, spa website says that the Classic was one of the first models made in 1952. It doesn't say when it was stopped but the site does have listings of all the wheels they make including 'reproductions' which I would guess are old models reproduced, but again, I don't know alot about steering wheels.
Pcarmarket won't let me share the listing, so here is what you type in to google, or aliexpress.us :

Here...let me help you. I already knew the answer to my earlier question. This steering wheel is fake. It has the same engravings, including the serial number, as this one has in black, which is for sale on Aliexpress.
This is a $100 steering wheel in a fake Nardi box. Fake Rolex watches usually don't have individual serial numbers either, because they are copied over and over. In fact you CAN pay for your own custom serial number, but that's rare. They are also available on Ebay, often held out as "original".
I don't believe for a minute that the seller doesn't know what he is offering is a replica since he holds himself out as an automobilia dealer. @Pcarmarket should pull this auction. Unlike the "other auction website" Pcarmarket seems to hold high standards to protect buyers.
Question: Is the 68016 the serial number?
The steering wheel is perfect with stainless and black bolts
@dglmick10 Did you go to the location and inspect the steering wheel? If so, can you share your observation...
to dglmick10 ......No problem contact Eric an PCM and he will give you my phone

I’m down the street in Palm Desert. Any way to see the wheel? Working on a few projects it might suit. Thanks
Wow, obviously you don’t think so……
What’s that famous quote that was attributed to, but debunked later, from P.T. Barnum?………
To dsdepew.............My erroe the first 912 was April '95. So far as the rest Nardi does not have a license with any manufacturers and does not make horn buttos. Any horn button you see is aftermarket and it does fit perfectly. The description doesn't need to be substantiated............does anyone realy care?
I don't believe you are correct in your description. The 912 first year of production was 1965 not 1964. Also, the wheel wood diameter seems much to thick and the horn button crest isn't proper for an early car. What can you provide as far as substantiation to your description?
