Available for auction is an illuminated S.E.V. Marchal sign. The Marchal company was a manufacturer of lamps and spark plugs for automobiles. S.E.V Marchal headlights adorned the noses of Chaparrals, Ford GT40s, Porsche 917Ks, BMW 2002s and lit the night from Le Mans to Daytona, Monte Carlo and to Finland. S.E.V MARCHAL was acquired in 1977 by CIBIÉ and that is where its disappearance began. Since then, its famous cat logo gradually disappeared.



The sign is not a recreation but a unique one of one creation by Pole Position Racing. The sign is constructed of an aluminum frame with a translucent face and is illuminated by 2 15W – 220v fluorescent bulbs, connected by a European cable. The sign measures 16.4” in height, 23.6” in length, with a depth of 5.5”. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and transactional fees.
