Available for auction is an illuminated Gulf clock. The clock was produced in 1963 by PAM Clock co. inc. in New Rochelle, New York. The electric clock is powered by 115 volts A.C. and is constructed of a steel frame with convex glass covering the translucent face featuring the Gulf logo.
The seller states the sign is in good condition with some minor patina and the clock operation is inconsistent. The clock includes mounting holes in the back for easy mounting. Whether you are a Gulf memorabilia enthusiast or collector of automobilia, this Gulf illuminated clock would make an excellent addition to any garage space or collection.

@Two_tone_Tommy Thank you!

The clock measures out at
15-3/4” x 15-3/4” x 3-1/2”
The operation of the actual clock is hit-or-miss. I’ll plug it in sometimes and it’ll work but more often than not the clock itself will not function. Thus - inconsistent . .
Any idea on an insured shipping price to 34448.
Thanks
Cool piece. Please verify the, exact, dimensions. You state that the accuracy is ‘inconsistent’ in its ability to keep the correct time. Is it fast, slow and how far ‘off’ in an hour or so?

@dino70089 Hello, it’s an original piece and if you look closely some of the paint has started to flake off giving it that fuzziness.
I had considered opening it up to clean it but I fear that would make the flaking considerably worse.
@bluemonkey Hello, I’d pack it fist tightly in shrink wrap and then in tightly packed foam in firm cardboard box. If you have any suggestions I’ll gladly accommodate your preference.
Sorry @Scalemotorsport, my previous comment was for the seller @Two_tone_Tommy. My apology.
@scalemotorsport Very cool! How would you pack this for shipping across country? Thanks.
Since the face is behind glass, what do you attribute to the `fuzziness' of the letters and other markings on the face?

@Two_tone_Tommy Thank you
@Scalemotorsport Thank you for the fantastic question - I’ll verify exact dimensions on Monday but I remember that it’s just over 15” X 15”.
Dimensions?
