Available for auction is an original framed Steve McQueen Le Mans movie poster and movie soundtrack vinyl record from 1971. This poster measures 27" x 41" and has a limited production number of 71/153 displayed on the bottom right. This rare and original vinyl record includes the framed front cover as well as a detailed rear cover. The album was produced by Thomas Z. Shepard and manufactured by Columbia Records. Good evening PCarMarket and thanks for hosting this auction for these wonderful pieces of art.
Both were owned by a friend for a long long time. He was a huge Ferrari fan (still is) and collected a lot of very interesting Ferrari and race related artifacts.
The poster came out of a European sports car shop in Riverside, CA, sometime in the 1970's and the LP, sometime shortly thereafter around the same parts. They hung in his display room for a long long time.
