Available for auction is a set of 12 silver plated Ferrari trophies made by Swatkins. The trophies were made for a race that never occurred. Included in this set are five Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge Best in Class trophies, six Lime Rock Park trophies (Four Ferrari 360 trophies for first position, pole position, second place race 2, and third place race 2, two Ferrari 355 Challenge trophies for second and third place for race 2), Two Third place Willow Springs International Raceway trophies. The Lime Rock Park race trophies are labeled for the year 2000 and the Willow Springs trophies are labeled for 1999.
The Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge, first place, and pole position trophies measure 16” in height, with a 6 ½” diameter base, and 5 ¼” cup diameter. The second place trophies measure 13 ½” in height, 5 ½” diameter base, and 4 ¼” cup diameter. The third-place trophies measure 11 ½” in height, 4 ½” diameter base, and 3 ½” cup diameter.
The seller states the trophies are in good condition except the two Lime Rock Ferrari trophies which are missing its velvet bottom (pole position and first place). Don’t miss your opportunity to own a piece of Ferrari’s racing legacy. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.
The seller would like you to know: "Ferrari commissioned these trophies for the races listed on the trophies. The races did not happen so the maker of the trophies were left with the trophies which I then purchased for my garage decoration."

@Petryszynm431 I look forward to connecting with you and arranging to get these shipped down to Kentucky
@993David congratulations on winning. I am happy to hear they are going to a good home.
@schen7585 I was anticipating a harder fight after seeing the carbon fiber SF 90 wheels and the 360 Challenge luggage set you bought at the other place. I’m thrilled that I won and they will certainly be going to a good home in my sim racing room.

@XJR Thank you! It is indeed a very beautiful and rare collection of trophies.
This is a fine and very rare collection. Did you know that just one of the larger trophies costs over $900 new and that’s before the engraving and shipping.

@Speedracer800 If you go to the Swatkins trophy website https://swatkins.com/ they show a video on how their trophies are all handmade. Most of them have a copper base. Based off the weight of these trophies I would say these are silver- plated with a copper base, but certainly not plastic.
@Speedracer800 Hello, not a dumb question at all. Silver-plated trophies are made by applying a thin layer of silver to a copper or brass base using a silver salt paste. The outer layer is genuine silver. The bases of these trophies are made out of plastic. I hope that was helpful. If you have any more questions please feel free to message me any time.

Might be a dumb question.. But what material are they made of? Says "silver plated" but doesn't seem to mention if it's a plastic material or??
@DolceClassico Thank you very much!
WOW! Gorgeous collection, best of luck!
