Available for auction is a Ferrari Prancing Horse (Cavallino Rampante) statue, an iconic symbol of the brand’s racing heritage. The seller states the statue is believed to have been produced in the 1980s, is in excellent condition and serves as a tribute to Ferrari’s storied past.
The Cavallino Rampante was first seen on the World War I fighter plane of Italian pilot Francesco Baracca, who was shot down in 1918. Legend has it that Enzo Ferrari later met Baracca’s parents at a racing event, where they suggested he adopt the symbol for good luck.
Enzo went on to create his own version of the emblem, which remains a hallmark of Ferrari to this day. Measuring approximately 16" x 4" x 10", this beautifully crafted piece is a must-have for any Ferrari enthusiast or collector. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.
