Steeped in history, the Arno XI hydroplane stands as the only Ferrari-powered hydroplane ever constructed. Born from the creative minds of Achille Castoldi and the expertise of legendary drivers Alberto Ascari and Luigi Villoresi in the early 1950s, this masterpiece showcases Ferrari DNA throughout the entire build. At the heart of their creation is a roaring 600 HP V12 engine, propelling the hydroplane over water at speeds in excess of 240 km/h or just over 150 mph. This astonishing feat was accomplished on the waters of Lake Iseo in 1953, solidifying its place in history by setting an unbeaten record in the 800-kg category.
