Available for auction is an original oil painting named “rain thunder” created by artist Chrisopher Draeger. The painting measures 35.5” x 24” and features the epic Ferrari 512 S driven by Jacky Ickx and Peter Schetty at the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 1970 on the mighty Circuit de la Sarthe in France.
The painting was deliberately painted in black and white, an homage to the time and era of photography and film recordings of the time. The highlight is the 512 S Coda Lunga in red. The seller states the only color used is Ferrari Red that was purchased directly from Ferrari. The silky matt color of black and white and the shiny Ferrari Red paint create an incredibly beautiful and powerful radiance. 
The photos only minimally express how beautifully the Ferrari red captivates the viewer. With great attention to detail and passion for motorsport, most of the work was done with Marabu colors, some of the best high-quality specialist paints. The seller states an individual certificate is included for the work of art. In these certificates of authenticity, all details about the work of art are listed and all frame data are confirmed.
