Available for auction is a set of 9 stopwatch/ timers that are used for racetrack or rallye. Five of the timers are mounted on single dash plates and 4 re mounted on double dash plates. The watches date from the 1960’s to about 2000. The seller states the watches that are mounted on the metal dash plates can be easily removed and affixed to a car’s dashboard. Each dash plate is engraved with a famous racetrack or rallye. The seller states the watches have not been tested for accuracy but are all fully functional in excellent working condition showing some minor wear from age.
Heuer A 2 pusher Trackmate model, 1/10 second 30 minute split timer
Hanhart A 3 pusher 1/5 second 30 minute watch. It has a 60 second dial in black
Synchrotimer A watch dating from the 1960’s it has a slide rather than a second pusher. It is 1 1/5 second 60 minute timer with a black face and a 60 second dial and a white rim with a 100 second dial. THE WATCH IS UNIQUE IN THE FACT IT HAS ORANGE HDS.
2 Apollo The first is a an Apollo 2 pusher 1/10 second 15 minute split timer. It has a 30 second outer dial in black and a red 60 second inner dial in red. The second is a 1/10 second 10 minute timer with a 10 second dial in red with a red sweep hand
2 Compass A matching pair of 3 pusher 1/10 second 15 minute split timers. They have the ‘Roulette ‘ dial with alternating red 60 second numbers and black 30 second.
Wakmann made by Breitling and sold under the name of the US distributor this is a 1/5 second 30 minute timer with black numbers and red ones at the corners.
Accro A very rare Watch it is a 2 pusher 1/10 second 15 minute timer. It has a black 30 second outer dial and a red 60 second 60 second dial
