Available for auction is a remarkable collection of 16 original Alfa Romeo factory blueprints, an Alfa Romeo wheel hub cap, and three archive photographs, offering a rare glimpse into the marque’s storied history. The blueprints, spanning various models and decades, originated from the private collection of a long-term ex-Alfa employee, passed down through the seller’s family.
Notably, several blueprints bear the name of Luigi Fusi, a revered Alfa Romeo archivist and Head of Control Drawings from 1955 to 1967, who played a pivotal role in preserving pre-war blueprints damaged during WWII. Among the collection is a handmade master original dated February 12, 1920, detailing the gear shift for the VETTURA DA CORSA Serie E SPORT. Some documents feature the “Richiesto Da Dipre” stamp, indicating ties to Alfa Romeo’s special projects and experimental division.
With most factory documents destroyed following the Fiat takeover in the mid-1980s, this collection represents an exceptionally rare opportunity to own authentic artifacts of Italian automotive heritage. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance handling, and transactional fees. PCARMARKET is not responsible for anything lost or damaged during shipping.
