Available for auction is a 50th anniversary GT40 & Gulf Le Mans win sign. The Sign commemorates the victory Ford GT40 with Gulf livery, in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This particular race Bruce Mclaren and Chris Amon were at the wheels, making this an important event for the manufacturer Ford which at the beginning of 1960 set out to win this mythical endurance test. Not only did it win that year (1966), but it also did so in the three following years (1967-1968-1969).



The seller states the sign is in excellent condition with one side still wearing the original protective film. The sign is illuminated by fluorescent lighting with 2 T16 13W and is powered by110v-220v transformer connected to a European plug. The back of the sign includes the Austrian manufacturer Forster’s label. The sign can be hung by 2 hooks on top making for an easy installation.



The sign measures 22.4” in height, 17.32” in length, with a depth of 3.15”. Whether you are a Le Mans enthusiast or collector of automobilia, this GT40 Gulf sign would make an excellent addition to any collection or garage space.
